Okay. That's probably the difference between "reads as if" and "is." Must be that you just write like one. |
And you're supposed to see this as a benefit, not a punishment. Ugh. |
| Absolutely not. 1) I love color 2) I look awful in black (I’m very pale and look like a ghost in black) 3) I’m very picky about clothes and would not let someone else choose for me. |
| I would too embarrassed even if i loved the clothes |
| I might. You also spend some time on a down day wearing the clothes - a couple of outfits - and photographing yourself in a few locations - store, park, wherever you’re going that day. Have extras ready to post and wear whatever the heck you want. How do you think the “influencers” do it? Oh, and invest in some great red lipstick and some colorful scarves. |
| I wouldn't but that's only bc a) I look bad in black and bright white (I'm a light spring lol) and b) I never post on social media. My last IG post was in 2019 and I have like 150 followers and it's a private account. It would just be weird if I was blowing up people's feeds all day about a stylist. |
|
I might if it was really high quality clothes. It’s have zero SM followers though so no one would see it!
I don’t think anyone would think it was weird if you wore the same thing to work over and over. No one really cares. Maybe if you wore the same flouncy floral ruffled dress every week people would notice but I wear the same three pair of black pants basically every day to work and I am positive not a single person I work with has ever cared or noticed. |
| This doesn't sound amazing. I can buy my own white/black clothes thanx |
| 1 post per day sounds really annoying. I'd say no. |
+100 That would not be worth it to me - and I like b&w clothes. If you do like the clothes you could do a bunch of shots during each weekend, but for me even that would be too much. |
|
The requirement to post positively would be the deal breaker for me.
|

Do you already make social media content? Because otherwise, that’s a ton of work. But we can assume you already do that work and have followers for something else, and this is like an add on?
If you have a business doing social media as a parenting expert or something and now you just have to wear these clothes while you do that and post about them, I can see maybe. D |
| Posting online? Hard pass. Hate that. |
| I would do it if I didn't need post online. |
| Given the circumstances you detail, no. You HAVE to post positively? Big no. The stylist is being shady. If one day you have a big mishap wearing white or you get tired of the repetition and you can’t post your honest experience? No. |
