Wasp in house - help!

Aww yes wasps and birds and other insects sleep at night. They are harmless and can be shooed out or left alone. I had a huge hornet’s nest outside my porch and several got into my house after removal and were not happy. That was scary!!

A few months ago, I found my cat playing with a wasp on the carpet under the kitchen table.

Like the assassin she is, she killed it without hurting herself. She is my loyal protector and I love her for it.

Haven't seen another wasp since. No idea how it got inside in the first place.
