Wasp in house - help!

If it's all dark colored blue or black, then yeah. It won't hurt you. Shoo it out, but I wouldn't try to catch it in your bare hands.

It's attracted to the light thinking it's a way outside.

Now that it's dark, turn off lights and put bright light near your door. It will fly to it, then you open it and shoo it out and be glad you surivived this horrendous ordeal. Perhaps write a story of your experience.

By now I would have gone to Home Depot and bought a ladder and wasp spray. Otherwise I’d have to move out.

We can’t get to it where it is right now. I’m worried it’s going to sting one of our cats when it flies down.
