Note that when Democrats are running for public office, they always claim they are going to fix those types of problems, but when they get elected they never quite get around to trying to fix such things. And the next time they run for public office they once again promise to fix the very issues they ignored while in office.

Um no. He only cares about himself. Everything he does has to benefit him in some way. He could not care less about your problems, only his own. He is a narcissist and a psychopath. MAGA is taken in by the cult.

No, you are obsessed with blaming him for everything.

He’s taking a major risk in taking over the DC police. But he is not vulnerable to street crime.

And he HAS billions…he doesn’t need tariffs to be rich.

And he has nothing personally to gain from trying to improve Gaza, get NATO countries to contribute more, & stop the Ukraine/Russia violence, calm down India/Pakistan & Azerbaijan/Armenia. He’s not trying to be re-elected, yet he spends a lot of time & effort on such things.

Are you sure he has billions? I think he's lost a lot of daddy's money, is over leveraged, and the policies he's pushing (and the products) , and the shady super pac constantly campaigning so he can use the money was all to pad his own pockets.
Also, Putin has something personal on him...which is why he always backs down when it comes to them

Follow the money.

There has been a rise in populism and traditionalism in recent decades in all first world democracies.

This is because after WWII recovery and the boom years at the end of the last century and into this one, income inequality has worsened, and the riches promised by globalism have been kept in the hands of a lucky few.

The forgotten industries and towns dotting European and American countrysides have create a whole underclass of people who feel left behind and whose resentment has come to the fore thanks to the internet. Before that, they couldn't find each other. Now there is a whole ecosystem of resentment created by influencers and pundits who make money off disaffected populations by fanning the flame of their discontent and hate for the government and migrants. Because when times are hard, people look for scapegoats, and the first two targets have historically always been: the establishment; and the residents who don't look like them. This has been the case since the dawn of humanity.

This explains the rise of autocratic-minded leaders in the West, who use populism and demagoguery to attract huge swathes of voters who have brainwashed themselves into believing an alternate reality of "facts": one of them being that migrants are somehow the cause of their suffering, which is demonstrably false (and the opposite of the truth).

It seems that Homo Sapiens is not entirely ready for the unbridled internet and the era of Pick Your Own Reality.

And now we have AI to contend with. Oh Boy.

We get it you are MAGA and trying to explain why you voted in a convicted felon.

I like that convicted felon. He's turning your ridiculous race-baiting, hate America first agenda on its head.

Winning!

You can't seriously believe everything you just said...

Let's review:
- Border crossings are practically zero compared to the shotshow that were happening previously.
- Trade imbalances are being addressed with the tariffs you hate, but it is adding billions to the US coffers, and long overdue
- USAID is dead, and not a moment too soon, what a waste and boondoggle for NGO grifters
- Iran's nuke capabilities are now defunct, even if for a little while
- Women's sports and spaces are now being protected again, which should have never been threatened in the first place
- The military is back on the mission of defending our country, versus being a drag show
- Trump exposed how much federal money was being sent to "private" Ivy League universities, which is just appalling, and I'm glad it is being addressed.

I am not happy about some things, especially the Qatar plane, but at least it was done in the sunlight, unlike what was happening in the last administration.

Op here. Yes. Yes we do. Thousands of federal workers have lost their jobs yet that sh$t is all getting funded with taxpayer dollars.

And exploring this question for the literal 100th time (at least) will help who or what?

Accept that Trump will always have supporters and will pick off many independents. Focus on upcoming elections and move on from things that will never change.

Funny you think there will be elections

That ship sailed the day he won all three chambers

You should leave the country if you think that ship has sailed, loser. We don't need your pathetic pansy arse getting in the way of REAL Americans who will be making sure all of us are able to exercise our right to vote in current and future elections.

Corruption in the sunlight does not make it ok. He just knows he'll never face any consequences thanks to SCOTUS.

30% of the population is authoritarian. They will always eat this stuff up and they’re emboldened by this SOB. The trick is to keep the other 70% engaged and accurately informed but the internet has destroyed us. Most people read crap news and have no idea how many bots and trolls they interact with.

Why is it ok that he accept a plane from Qatar that we have to pay for and that will eventually pad his library? Is there anything else you’d rather do with a couple hundred million as a US taxpayer? Or paying for his flights and pricey security detail to support visits to his own resort, enriching himself in the process? Why is that ok? Or ripping up the Rose Garden, as if that is among our biggest problems that needed to be addressed pronto with taxpayer dollars? How about extorting universities? We all know he’s going above and beyond there. Would you walk up to him on the street and hand him your checkbook to personally fund these and other questionable activities?

So why the unwavering devotion? Why keep looking the other way? Does it bother you that the price of food isn’t going down? Again, no mention of Obama and Biden please. I thought he was supposed to be better than them.

The price of food is down, the price of gas is down.

If Trump did something unethical, impeach him.
