Doesn’t sound like he struggled. He’s making a 90th percentile first year out? I severely doubt this kid had problems getting a job.

he worked for it - useless SLAC career center advised him to “reach out to family friends” to initiate job search. 65% have jobs from his class of 2024, which is pathetic for the $90k+ we paid. Going thru it now with younger kid and we’ve learned valuable lessons. He could’ve got the same job paying a fraction at state flagship

You cannot get a job paying 140k coming out of a state school, unless it is Berkeley. Your child likely didn't take up appropriate campus resources and now you're retaliating against the college.

odd comment when I’m not even naming the college - most FAANG+ only recruit from T20s for product mgmt and CS, and all other college hires well represented by state schools - Wiscy, UCs, Illinois, Indiana, Rutgers, UGA, BYU, on and on - less elitist approach in tech than from MBB or IB
