And he can't manage to fathom that most Americans strongly disagree with those values and is completely wrapped up in his own deranged selfrighteousness.

He didn't get fired for his political beliefs; he got fired for being so freaking stupid.

Also it’s pretty rich saying you were fired for your political beliefs when one of those beliefs is disagreeing with the first amendment.

If they’re actors, they are terrible at it and need to find new jobs.

Ironic because several them do actually have to find new jobs since they were fired after this was released.

Makes me warm & tingly inside. The goofiest looking one has a GFM to support himself while he looks for a new job. And probably takes some time to learn what the actual First Amendment is after being turned down "leftist woke" lawyers who said he didn't have a case.

Anonymous wrote:A Jubilee video was just released on YouTube featuring Mehdi Hassan debating 20 hardcore conservatives. Holy smokes, it’s gotta be the most disturbing political themed video I’ve seen in a long time. I didn’t share the link but you can easily find it on YouTube.

Question is, how common are the views being espoused by these conservative bros on this video? Common? Fringe?

These views are increasingly common among younger men, who have begun to question many ideas that were traditionally seen as beyond reproach. Their views on race, in particular, are quite different from Boomer-adjacent Americans.

The interesting part is that their views are becoming increasingly widespread. Because debate has been stifled on certain topics for so long, the mainstream has no answer for many of their ideas. It's going to be an interesting few years.

I always wonder why people like yourself ignore the women who were there? Women play an extremely big roll in maga.

These people are not questioning anything. They are out right rejecting the constitution and western values. They want a supreme leader and no constitution. One can see from their performance during the debate they do not understand what they are talking about or how their embrace of these radical positions will actually impact their future. You have to be pretty deep in to the white supremacist ideology to quotes lesser know Nazis. They do not realize they were getting destroyed by Hasan.

This is a direct result of Trump and his embrace of racism and anti constitutional ideology. The 20 people in the room were in their teenage years or younger during Trumps first term. Hopefully many of these people will learn some hard lessons. The open racism, anti American, pro dictatorship, white nationalism, Christian nationalism, etc can never be put back in the bottle.

The interesting thing is that many Jews find common ground with these people because of Israel. They scream about the progressives and liberal antisemitism while embracing these guys! Wonder how that will work out?

Boomers disagree with those values. However, younger Americans are increasingly embracing them as the social compact has been shredded by elected officials and business leaders.

A racist, yes. Fascist, yes.

However, the Nazis would never accept losers like that. They were evil garbage, but even they had standards.

Hasan repeatedly lies throughout the debates. At one point he says immigrants don't affect wages, despite decades of evidence to show exactly that.

Ok, where is your evidence?

Most studies show that there is no change to skilled or white collar labor, minimal for unskilled. Overall a net positive for wages. The economy as a whole grows.

You have got to be joking on the wages? Look what the average wage bought in terms of housing years ago compared to today? Most studies today do not rely on open data sets with published methodologies that have been replicated. You're welcome to point to specific work, but I doubt it stands up.

If you want, you could look into Borjas, who says that there are some economic gains from immigration, but the benefits overwhelmingly accrue to business owners. Wealthy inequality increases over the past 40 years show as much. Also, these calculations often fail to account for the public debt incurred by supporting immigrants. Look no further than the net taxes paid/received by demography.

Yes, number goes up but the vast majority of people do not benefit. Hasan lies about that problem among many other things such as the fact whites aren't native to America. He's a clown no honest person should ever believe.

The self-owning part is that he states he doesnt care about the first amendment and then complains he got fired for 1st amendment reason. Hes a tool who gets off on getting attention for being "out there" because without these crazy viewpoints that he is willing to state out in the open he would get no attention whatsoever.
He basically said the only part of the Constitution that matters is the 2nd and any part that benefits him - and people like him- directly.

If he works in an at-will state then good luck to him /s. Hes reaping what he wants to sow.

Sure. Keep grasping at straws. Your side got exposed and decimated.

At one point Hasan ask the guy what he will do when the fascist dictator arrest him or kills his family members. The guy says it will not happen to him because he is a loyalists. This guy thinks he is special! These regimes always purge their ranks.

I want to know about the guy who said his family came over to America in the 1500’s. Thats like Augustine, Florida in 1565, Roanoke 1585 and maybe the French in Acadia? Bet he is from Roanoke!

These regimes represent someone. He is turning to fascism because democracy doesn't represent him. It's not so different from why fascism erupted in the 1930s.
