Is there a reason you put “equity” in all caps within the quotation marks? You have made it appear that the word is written that way on the FCPS website, but it is not.

It is deceptive to put something in quotes as though you are quoting exactly when you are actually changing aspects of the sentences being referred to.

I noted that the back to school email from the superintendent stressed academic excellence and didn't mention equity.

They are getting the message, slowly maybe, but they're getting it.

I’m a level 4 AAP classroom teacher at a center school and this isn’t true for me. 10 out of my 25 students have birthdays in October or November!
