Any reference to COGAT removed from FCPS AAP Lvl 4 site

Rising 2nd graders were expected to take the COGAT this fall. I believe they were the last group to take the NNAT as 1st graders. However, the official AAP site does not specify it anymore. Anyone else aware of this change?

Maybe there's a contract recompete? Testing schedule still says some sort of "nationally normed ability test"

But yes, looks like it's no longer guaranteed to be the CogAT.

Maybe they are going by the HOPE scale alone?

Although removed from AAP section, it is still listed an as form of a test in 1st grade (NNAT) and 2nd grade(COGAT). Is there an official confirmation that there is no NNAT in 1st grade?

So we are eliminating all objective criteria?

There still remains the HOPE scale. That’s objective.

No, they say they are going to use a nationally normed ability test, just not which one. There are lots of other options - OLSAT springs to mind immediately, for example.
