OTC folinic acid dose is 0.5mg

Prescription leucovorin dose is over 10mg.


Technically you coud self-hypermedicate on OTC doses, but could be risky

I think OP is a bit off, though. "So smiley" is really what folinic acid / folic acid does.

Maybe the kid likes summer vacation.

That's exactly what its supposed to do.
