OP, if you wanted to do the right thing, you would've paid for her miniscule order and a gift card so she could pay for her kid's food next time.

You're caping for WHOLE FOODS. Dude, Jeff Bezos isn't going to raise the price of nuggets because of this shrink, and he doesn't need you playing unpaid rent-a-cop at the hot bar.

If you see someone stealing, no you didn't. MYOB and be grateful you don't have that life.

The prices at Whole Foods are exorbitant, and won't be increased due to hot bar food that goes unpaid. They throw out enough every day to feed everyone on this thread a feast.

Let other people make their own mistakes when it doesn't cause immediate risk of safety or life. This is peak MYOB territory.

Disgusted.

I would have reported her or told her to remember tonpay for the chicken nuggets.
