I was not obese, 5ft 6 and 160 pounds, exercise regularly. I also had high blood pressure and high cholesterol and family history of heart disease. Doctor prescribed, I have lost 25 pounds and my blood pressure and cholesterol are back to normal. I feel better than I have in over a decade

Good for you! And yes, you are a target population of those drugs, even without being obese. Very nice results.

There are lots of benefits to GLP-1s that are coming to light. I have a family history of pulmonary fibrosis and there is evidence that these drugs can slow or even reverse lung scarring. I don’t mind losing 15 pounds, but I’m even more interested in the effect these drugs have on inflammation, fibrosis, and other health issues.

Well the celebrities are all getting insanely thin. That makes the people want it too.

Some of them are looking positively scary now.

My ED in college was triggered by rapid weight loss so I’m not surprised. And easier now with the drugs because you can blunt hunger. I also kind of wonder if it’s related to gender and equality backlash. You know, women disappearing again, literally taking up less space.

I have not noticed this trend.

Pharmaceutical companies that produce and sell GLPs have a duty to allow more people to benefit from them.

Suffering from an ED or suffering medical consequences from one, is sooo much more awful than a decrease in their profit.
