1. Women should have to register for Selective Service
2. Women should be eligible for an involuntary draft 3. Only those who are fit to fight should be in frontline fighting positions; this applies to men & women, vast majority of young men do not qualify. So much of war is about logistics, technology, services, data, etc. There’s no reason why women soldiers can’t contribute to the war effort in non-frontline positions. |

Exactly this—MAGAs already think all men who aren’t MAGA are trans and they don’t allow trans people in the military. So, MAGA only draft if one is needed. |

Yes. Currently 16% of the Army is female. Women can and do serve.
The idea about physical requirements is just MAGA trying to flex and eliminate women. The Army already permits varying fitness abilities- even for combat specialties. The fitness charts vary by age. Somehow, old men are permitted to have lower fitness standards, but women can’t. So much for one fitness standard. 2 mile run. Male/combat passing score 60 points Aged 17-21 19:57 Aged 42-46 22:04 Female noncombatant scale 66 points Aged 17-21 22:01 Young females can perform as well as middle aged males. The “combat” scale has nothing to do with physical ability. The Army has no issue with older males being in combat despite their lower physical performance requirements. The remaining requirements are similar Deadlift males 60 points Aged 17-21 150 lbs Aged 32-36 140 lbs Females 75 points Aged 17-21 140 lbs Sprint/drag/carry males 60 point Aged 17-21 Aged |
