NVSL B-meet 6/23 and heat advisory

If your kids aren’t going because of the heat, I would just back out of the volunteer slot. It’s a freaking rec swim B meet. It really just isn’t that serious. I’m sure all the people insistent that Larlo gets his chance to swim a 1 minute 50 free will be happy step up and take that volunteer slot from you.

I'm an older mom with health issues and I'm worried about this one. We might have to sit this one out.

If your kids aren’t going because of the heat, I would just back out of the volunteer slot. It’s a freaking rec swim B meet. It really just isn’t that serious. I’m sure all the people insistent that Larlo gets his chance to swim a 1 minute 50 free will be happy step up and take that volunteer slot from you.

If we miss our volunteer slot than our kid can’t participate in the A meet. So it’s not that easy.

So if your kid is already in the A meet, but you back out of a volunteer slot at a B meet that she/he isn’t going to swim in because the heat index is 115, they are really going to pull your kid from the A meet? Pretty good example of why summer swim in the DMV is just ridiculous.

But it’s under the NVSL umbrella. Would they cancel if it was an A meet?
