OBX Boil - they can deliver steamer pots of seafood and other sides. Also see if Village BBQ will deliver. |
Opposite. Boys who want tacos, girls wants hot dogs. |
It's 2025. The tide has turned. Now boys want tacos and girls want hot dogs again. |
Aren't they all eating salad these days? |
+100. DC went last year and her house cooked and went to grocery store on their own. Went out a few times as well. Not hard to do. Stop coddling adults. |
I dont know... we rented a house in OBX after college grad and the parents sent us dinners a few time. It wasn't coddling, we all had jobs/apartments line up, it was a gift. |
Other way around. Let the kids figure it out! |
Are you joking? Can’t the kids pick something and let you know? |
Corolla Pizza delivers. Corolla Cantina is good, but you would have to send someone to pick it up. Also agree with PP on Agave Rosa or Cosmos. |
I'm seriously so confused right now. A parent has to send food to their teenagers at the beach? They can't order or cook their own food? My 13-year old either makes dinner or orders on Door Dash for herself when we're not home. |
Something from the drive thru? |
FWIW OP, I think this is really nice. As a teen or college kid on beach week (15 years ago now!), I would’ve loved a meal delivery. Let us know what you chose! |
😉😆 |
Agreed. In the olden days, my high school friends and I always figured out the food situation (and everything else) for ourselves when we did our cabin trips to the mountains. Restaurants, grocery stores, cooking. Let the kids figure it out, helicopter mom. |
Lordy. Parents, it’s your time to take a break! Your kids are adults now. Stop babying them. I’m surprised these kids aren’t embarrassed their mommies are getting their food together for them. |
