Marines deployed to LA

The last time US troops were deployed in this fashion was 1968. There will be 18 year olds with lethal weapons in areas they are being told is hostile.

In ‘68 the deployed troops responded to sniper fire by returning fire in to apartment buildings. The only problem was there was no snipers fire. It was just nervous 18 year olds.

He learned from that this time around. Second, the riot at the capitol went on for a few hours - not days like this one has. There was no need to bring in marines. It was over before they could get there.

This is false. I'm an ex-Marine and I would never shoot my fellow countrymen during a protest. That would be highly illegal and against the oath I took.

Some of us took our oaths very seriously even if the loser-in-chief did not. People protesting are not a threat to the Constitution.
