3.73 GPA Student at Lawrenceville. What Colleges Should He Consider?

So maybe search these threads and see what people with gaps and scores like that at those schools aim for.

Or Sidwell or STA parents, speak up and tell OP what those stats might mean for students at your school.

Lawrenceville is far more prestigious than any DMV private. Lawrenceville is a top 10 private school in the US, top 5 among boarding schools.

Which is why I am sure op has better sources of information than DCUM.

Or a family paying for Lawrenceville hasn’t hired it’s own college counselor.

In other words, you have nothing to offer besides your useless opinion. 🤣

And yet, Niche isn't any more credible.

It’s definitely more credible than your random, uninformed opinion.

You must be on Lawrenceville’s payroll. They should fire you because you’re doing a horrible job as their shill.

According to whom? Niche ranks Sidwell #11 nationally, and Sidwell has better name recognition than most of the schools ranked #1-10.

LOL
Interesting that a Sidwell booster is boosting about Niche when for the past 2 prior years, they were denigrating Niche because it has BIM as the #1 private school in the DMV.
Niche is good when it favors them, bad when it doesn’t.
You cannot make this 💩 up

Middlebury is having financial issues. I’d be cautious of it.

Any links to support this/can you elaborate?

You're not too bright.
Lawrenceville is a 9-12 grade school, not K-12. So if you want use Niche as your holy grace, this is the ranking you should have used: HS ranking. Sidwell didn't even make top 30.

Sidwell parents are not a monolith. Whomever you referring to probably isn’t on this thread. That should be obvious, but common sense isn’t common.

Wrong. Try #29 nationally, and #1 in the DMV. You’re clearly in no position to question anyone’s intelligence.

Niche admits that the data underpinning its rankings is unreliable due to spam and bots.

Your link is for "college-prep" private HS. The correct ranking to use is "best private HS". Still, Sidwell is way behind Lawrenceville in your linked ranking.
Clearly you've proven that you're not too bright.

Lawrenceville is ranked #14 and Sidwell is ranked #29 (out of tens of thousands of private schools). If you think there’s a qualitative difference in education between these two schools because of that small ranking difference, I’ll let you continue to wallow in ignorance (where you’re clearly the most comfortable based on time and experience).

Btw, your children clearly have no hope of attending either of these schools. That’s why you’re in no position to choose which ranking I post. You’re on the outside looking in.

Good luck getting into top colleges coming from Jersey. That state is like a scourge on colleges in other states. Do they not have any ìn- state options.

Laughable that anyone actually pays to send their kids to NJ for school.

Interesting!
Do you think there's a qualitative difference in education between Sidwell and BIM?
