If it randomly just started occurring and it's a full grown dog nobody immediately recognizes, it's either a renter (most likely) or a new purchase. Can't be too many houses in the neighborhood that just sold. |
Or previously the person walked it in the mornings but now has to go into office early and so just opens the door and lets the dog out while they are getting ready. Lots of people recently required to go back into the office so routines are changing. |
Letting your dog roam the neighborhood to shit in anyone's yard is trashy af. Nobody who owns a nice home is acting like this. |
. I have done this myself before. With one specific dog owned by a guy on my block. Chevy Chase, DC 20015. |
+1 Plus leash laws |
Military renters are the best neighbors and usually leave the house in better condition than when they moved in. |
This is what would happen in my neighborhood too. It seems odd to post on Facebook rather than calling the owner. |
The homeowner was crowdsourcing who the owner might be. Claimed he has no idea and had never seen the dog being walked by anyone. |
Very false. Rich aholes who think rules don't apply to them. |
I randomly happened to be looking out my front window one morning when a woman walking her dog allowed it to poop in my front yard. I watched as she pretended to bend over a pick it up but didn't. I opened my window and yelled, "Can you please pick up your dog's poop? I see that you pretended to, but you didn't." She was so caught off guard it was hilarious. I guarantee she never walked past my house on her route again. |
Wow, you worked yourself into quite a little lather there, didn’t you. I have a secret to tell you—a lot of homeowners were former renters. |
He should leave a special treat for the dog. |
Busted! |
NP. I’m with you. I understand why the dog shouldn’t be pooping on the lawn, but posting it online is not the way to handle it. This reminds me of a typical next door neighbor post. That place is full of bored busy bodies. Seems like people on this thread are the same |
