For real? It’s so odd Dean J has not posted anything about WL movement for a month

I know, right? Normally, I think we would know more by now. I think the current uncertainty with international students is contributing to the silence re: waitlist. UVA doesn’t know yet how it will play out and whether they will have space to fill.

W&M has been full for multiple weeks so I'm not surprised UVA might also be

An honest question: Does W&M have the percentage of international students that UVA does ? I would be surprised if it does.

6% at W&M, 8% at UVA

This makes Harvard’s 27% look outrageous.

With all due respect to UVA, it is both a state school and does not have the unique international appeal that Harvard does. It’s no surprise that more international students want to go to Harvard than UVA.

You were the recipient of a summary denial from the University of Virginia. Take your jealous bile elsewhere.

Don't fall for this troll. It's the same or different trouble-maker posing as an obnoxious UVA booster to generate hate against UVA.

UVA is receives undue hate on this board because it's the only hyper-elite university in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area that is public; people feel like they deserve to attend and become very jealous and angry when they (or their kids) don't get the spot they think (erroneously) they deserve. I'm defending a university that gets way more hate than it should. What are you doing? Trying to bring others down for expressing their opinions. Go get a hobby.

Lol hardly. Two of my kids are UVA grads and I couldn’t be more proud. I’m just telling it like it is.

How is it that you can't see the fact that UVA receives undue hate because of its location and high selectivity on this website? How is setting the record straight when jealous moms come on here trolling?

No, they aren't. You're a liar trying to bring down UVA out of jealousy and I won't allow it. Try again, reject.

USNWR says UVA is 5% international and W&M 4%.

Typically, a higher percentage of graduate students than undergraduate students are international.

Harvard has a much higher percentage of its enrollment in graduate programs. It is approximately the same overall size as UVA, but UVA's undergraduate enrollment is 2.5X higher. There is also a much higher demand internationally to get a graduate Harvard degree.

Someone on the VT parent page said their daughter was looking for a new roommate because her original one got off the WL at UVA.
