| Does he improve completely during the summer when he’s home? Could be the building, could be seasonal allergies that came on at puberty age, could be he has a friend who is a strep carrier or something….if he’s graduating I guess you’ll see next year in high school |

ARe you in FCPS where the kids switch from ES to MS for 7th? If so, I'd assume htat's the cause. There are many more kids he's interacting with, in part because the MS is much bigger than the ES, and part because he switches classes so he's arouind a whole new mix of kids for every class. Also probably MS teachers don't clorox and stuff as much as the ES teachers, who in our experience were more focused on hygiene.
My DD was a sick a lot in 7th when she went to MS. She also was sick a lot this past winter, her first year of HS. |

Yeah we were all the sickest from 2020-2021/2022 - not tied to getting covid (which didn’t happen to me until after this time period) - once my kids were back at school without masks in 2022-2023 school year all was normal for us. Wearing masks especially seemed to make us sick mostly with weird skin and eye stuff - I think all that touching of the face factors in |
