When a cop asks you why you hit your husband:

1. I was just manually shutting his mouth, officer.

2. I was adjusting his face, officer.

3. Tell the cops you aren’t as strong as a man, and thus, are allowed to hit your husband in the face!

4. Officer, he was being slick at the mouth. I was informed on dc urban moms (and dads!) it was a perfectly reasonable response.
