Behold the Pro-Life Party of Family Values and Reducing the Labor Force to Increase Wages, everyone. |
I want Billionaires to pay taxes. |
No one pays for them to be in Medicaid, they can’t use it unless it’s a true life threatening emergency, and then it’s only the payor of last resort. They literally deport people via medevac and dump them rather than pay for treatment. |
This 40% is very likely over 65 and in nursing home or home care, or under 14 and a child unable to work. |
I’m in healthcare. Last I checked, they didn’t qualify for Medicaid. They might qualify for charity funds. But that didn’t answer my question. |
Some of you guys keep talking about the “invaders” and lazy people who can work. Suppose that’s the case—-if they cut Medicaid, how do you know those will be the people targeted? And not disabled folks? Or seniors in nursing homes? The raising numbers of seniors plus cutting Medicaid sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Most people cannot afford nursing home care. What’s going to happen to them? My guess is many will be dumped at hospitals (already happens) bc their kids can’t or won’t care for them. |
It’s what Jesus would want. Pretty sure that it’s in the new Trump Bible. “F@CK THE POOR.” |
Their kids or other family will be required to pay their care. A rarely enforced Medicaid rule. |
Illegal aliens. |
Women will disproportionately be hurt. Grandma get kicked out of nursing home?
Wife will take care of her. Child with a disability? Mom’s there! Adult child with disability? Mom again! Husband injured and unable to work? Wife can work then take care of hubby. MAGA has been showing their hand for a while. Overturn of Roe, Save Act, end no fault divorce. They hate women. |
But wait, I thought MAGA want women to stay home and have a single income household like the good old days |
You do realize they are not cancelling Medicaid? |
But the above people named would be kicked off because they can’t work 80 hrs a month |
I am a Democrat. Do you honestly think all women should be allowed to stay at home, even if they cannot afford to do so? I don’t. Most mothers work. |
Most of the people on Medicaid — or their parents — have jobs. |
