Their coach allows the new players for the upcoming season to practice alongside the players who got cut and they are going to replace. Yeah it's overlap.

Jeebus

If someone wants to take their time and money to travel to Boondocks, South Dakota, why does it matter to anyone else????

Don’t be rude and arrogant and condescending

Yikes! Is this not the same coach who's go to phrase is "Trust the process". Sure way process to shatter a 12/13 year old girls confidence by placing their replacement front and center. Sad!

Avoid ASA at all costs, definitely not the place to take your player.

Yeah that is pretty sh!tty. And honestly the parents paid for a spring season, its not right to crowd up practice with all these extra players.

I haven’t seen any of next years kids at practice with this year’s teams except the ID days and random kids guesting here and there - usually one at a time - the same as they have all season and do every season.

Even kids who moved up teams are asked to keep it quiet while the process unfolds. They aren’t sticking them into practice with the new teams.

A lot of people get spun up based on an anonymous post. Then a bunch of people come out of the woodwork to disparaged in ASA with such helpful ways as: ‘save yourself!’

I have a bunch of kids at a bunch of levels in ASA and it isn’t perfect, but we like it overall and it has been incredible for my range of kids.

Some of you are very strange people with strange axes to grind.

This is a very helpful perspective from someone with experience with ASA for someone who is considering the club; thank you. Do you happen to know if the GA2-2012 team has filled all of its roster spots?

I don’t know. I don’t have a kid in that year.

Thanks ASA keyboard warrior. For the rest, please stay away!

Honest question: Does anyone know what the person who is always calling people “Alexandria Warrior” had happen to them? Did they have a kid cut? Do they coach at a competing club? Whatever the reason, they have a rather unhealthy obsession.

In my mind, I always picture the Steve Buscemi character from Billy Madison sitting at a laptop waiting for a new Alexandria post to respond to.

Some of next years additions are in fact practicing with the team already for a certain age group. Don't spread false narratives, especially if you don't have a kid in the age group that this is currently happening with. The coach for this team did this last season as well and will even let them play a game here and there.

Yes, they monitor this site and are trying to change the narrative for the club. Quick tip, just do better, prioritize your players.

Not the Warrior. The Warrior types like a lunatic and makes attacks against people, then calls people crazy and accuses them of making personal attacks or "attacking children" when nobody mentioned the kids.

The above post was far too sane and well written.

This. The effort this person takes to police every vaguely positive post about Alexandria is mind bogglingly pathetic.
