Girls - McLean (Green), Arlington (Pre-Academy), and Bethesda (ECNL I)

For 2015G Potomac as a fantastic coach taking over the first team for 25-26.

The new McLean green team coach and the Arlington coach both train kids outside of their teams for HP elite and False 8. Both will help develop your daughter and really take a vested interest in them. The Green team coach has a better winning record (with McLean 2014s) if that matters to you. The Arlington coach just came back to coaching this year from a brief hiatus. The green team hasn’t been playing the top NCSL 2014 division this year like the other two clubs. So if your daughter is coming from 9v9, the Arlington and Bethesda players as a whole are more versed. Bethesda plays more of a passing game and is better technically than Arlington.

The Bethesda coach is also a nice guy. Don’t know much about his coaching style except like someone else said he isn’t a yeller. He's coached the 2014 top team for the past two years and I think they have done fine. You may want to factor in that he also has a 2015 daughter that will most likely be rostered on the team.

This is solid feedback. For Bethesda, the 2015 coach’s daughter will likely play for him and sometimes those situations feel political, but in this case she deserves it as she is a very high scorer and talented kid. I don’t think you could go wrong with Bethesda or McLean if you are talking about 2015 or 2014. I hear mixed feedback about the Arlington coaching for those years. There will probably be some stability next year across all three clubs for 2014/15, so the best thing to do is get to a game if possible, even if it’s far away. Hope you find the club that is right for you.

Why would you post a Youtube Video for Alexandria Soccer's new Capelli uniforms in this thread?

Also, if your club is going with Capelli, order ASAP or else be prepared to wait to receive the uniforms in November (after the fall labor strikes in Bangladesh are over.)
