If your child had multiple HYPSM / IVY+ offers where did the choose?

I'm wondering about some of these posts. Like the UChicago people. Are they for real? Or did they switch to ED2 but mot pull other apps?

A friend of DD's chose Williams over Brown.

Another friend chose Harvard over Princeton, Duke, and Georgetown.

No. My son applied EA. Are you an alumni that had a bad experience there? How come you feel so strongly about people who choose the school?
What's your own personal experience with UChicago?

Have you been on this site long? There is an almost pathological hate for Chicago. In general it's a pretty controversial school due to their intense marketing (people claim they are flooded with mailings), and their numerous ED options (ED0 is really over the top IMO).

My kid got info 2 and isn’t legacy , URM, recruited athlete etc …
