U.S. intel contradicts Trump’s justification for mass deportations

I don't think MAGA heads are going to explode at the notion that an administrative agency disagrees with the policies of Donald Trump. This take has big Occupy Democrats energy. ("Trump FUMING as Rachel Maddow DESTORYS his argument about taxes!")

the bolded is false...and part of the problem is the administration is acting so ham handed, they are kidnapping and ignoring due process for people who are otherwise productive members of society. If they were just getting rid of actual criminals, people might ignore the whole due process thing, but they aren't, so due process becomes important. And, at the same time, the Administration is kicking out students and people who are here legally on different types of visas to the point the international tourism is falling off a cliff and will have a material negative impact on our GDP.

CNN is not a reliable source of information. One shouldn't build a whole theory upon premises delivered by MSM cable news.

One probably also shouldn't rely on a source of information that paid $787,000,000 in damages for lying on its air.

When compared to Fox News & MSNBC, CNN is a reliable source of information. You are in 2017 lala land.

Great to hear from so many that some sources of fake news have been abandoned. Some also mentioned Lalaland. I guess that is a country where their information sources must come from, especially for those believing that the majority of US citizens wants more immigration.

Fairly predictable - MAGA rejects any factual information that conflicts with their world view.

In fact, we saw this in the first Trump term with an Intelligence Community Assessment that included the Steele Dossier saying Russia was helping Trump, all leaked to the media.

Russia actually WAS trying to help Trump, and there is evidence, such as the FB accounts that used US citizens to organize rallies. The question for the investigation was whether there was collusion or coordination between Russia and the campaign.

My own feeling is that just like how PACs supposedly don't coordinate with campaigns, Russia didn't coordinate.

Narrator: they coordinated.

Just go back to the various references to Wikileaks as a start.

The references don't count as direct evidence. Trump publicly calling for emails to be released, followed by a data dump, is not coordination in that sense. IIRC the Mueller report made many references to areas the investigation couldn't get to, in part because of uncooperative sources.
Clearly--in front of our faces--PACs and campaigns make a farce of the "not coordinating" business. Which is what I was getting at.

Yes. Plausible deniability, yet everyone involved knows it’s FOS.

DP. I don’t like MSNBC because like Fox, it’s over the top and now punditry than news. However, I do love Rachel Maddow. Yes she is liberal, but she brings real news and new information with receipts. A lot of the stuff Rachel report is days ahead of the other news sources. The woman does her homework and is smart.

You’re talking about Murdoch’s Fox News, right?
