Meanwhile, in actual news, the IDF continues to make progress, killing Muhammad al-'Ailiah, the commander of Hamas' Shejaiya battalion, a unit which operates in Gaza City. He's the 5th commander of that unit to be eliminated since the beginning of the war.

In related actual news, Hamas just rejected an Israeli proposal for a six-week ceasefire in Gaza which would have had Hamas release half of the remaining living hostages. Only 24 of the 54 hostages remaining in Gaza are believed to still be alive.

Predictably, Hamas remains intransigent, and continues to seemingly welcome an inexorable crawl towards annihilation with no concern for collateral civilian casualties. Oh, well!

These supposed weapons depots were not found despite hundreds of searches by the IDF.
