Those things are easy. I meed breast ultrasound and MRI. I cannot get GT to pick to see how much it would cost and call me back. I have every excuse for their office: 'I'm new', 'I just go back from a leave', 'your referral doesn't have a signature'.
Now My doctor has to contact them to see why the referral is not good or where to send me. This has been going on for 5 months. Cancer will not kill me, dealing with some offices here, will. Doctors in EU told me to let them know when I'm coming. Cost is $200+$500 plane tickets. Doubt it's that low here. |
I don’t participate in social media at all. THANKS FOR YOUR THOUGHTFUL POST THOUGH. -OP |
Thank you

Practically everyone feels the same as you. DCUM is full of contrarians who just like to debate and play devils advocate 😆 |
| OP - your post hit the spot! Thank you, don’t forget to add all the preventative medical appointments. |

Drink half your weight in water????
I think that's been debunked, OP. I'd feel sick too if I did that!
The rest is fine. Stop poisoning yourself with your ridiculous water intake. You're making your kidneys work overtime. |
Not really. Lots of us are functioning adults who can manage daily life without complaining about it. |
| I do a lot of those things but mostly focus on eating well, exercise, and being well read. They are habits at this point. |
You need a new specialist. I'm at Kaiser and it's very smooth, but even when I had a different health insurance, I never had the problems you mentioned. |
Quick Google search: https://fortune.com/well/article/how-much-water-should-you-drink-a-day/ “Half your body weight in ounces is a great starting point,” she says. “So for someone who’s 200 pounds, our first goal would be 100 ounces. |
I'm also with OP and this poster as well. And I feel more of a sense of urgency to stay on top of my stuff more now than ever. |
| This is weird OP. WTF were you doing before? |
| My MIL does nothing but take care of her health and body 24/7 like obsessed about vitamins supplements treatments food diet exercise yet has no friends, no hobbies, severe agoraphobia and is disliked by her entire family. More than one way to be healthy. |
That is so sad. Maybe she hides behind the health obsession. |
And all I want to do is fall asleep on the couch! But then I do the nighttime routine and suddenly my body figures it's not sleepy any more and my brain wants to think about a dozen different things that aren't really all that important right now. |
