| It’s U of T. Not UT. It’s hard to compare because there like 1 college in Canada for every 50 in the US. Also, all Canadian undergrad programs are public. Plus, U of T had the best law school in the country, and arguably the best med school as well. Other than McGill for undergrad generally and Waterloo for stem, U of T is basically the best school in Canada for everything else. |

Philosophy falls into the humanities category. Economics and politics fall within the social sciences. Nonetheless, the interdisciplinary major of public policy relies on the fields of political science, economics and philosophy for its foundation.
