I don't think there is an equivalent. It's a huge school. Maybe imagine the University of Michigan in the middle of New York City without a football team.

University of Toronto has 80,000 students…ASU is the equivalent. It’s a huge commuter school with tons of students, much like UT.

Of course, the weather is very different.

People are too literal about location. Berkeley is the easy answer, but even it has better retention rates.

For stem, UT is like Berkeley except Canada has no HYPSM equivalent so it's even better in Canada than Berkeley is in the US
