Continue to display your ageism at the peril of American lives. Elon made room for the Hegseths of the government. Anybody who had/have options, old and young, have sought other employment. The jobs number report this morning showed an increase in private industry hiring. So some of those experienced people are now working against the government employees unable to to move on.

This. Immense amount of in-process work and tons of work teams have been destroyed and can't be reconstituted. The cost of the destruction is large.

Just like Trump's destroying the trust of allies -- a month to do, but decades to 'fix.'

Trust is (re)built with consistent behavior over time. Other than being consistently incompetent, when has a Trump-run administration been consistent about anything?
