Dems need to put all their power behind Ossoff. That's a future leader. I donated yesterday and told some family members to check him out.

I'd love to have a female President and think AOC would be fantastic, but the fact of the matter is that the US is not ready for a female President. I doubt I'll even see one in my lifetime (I am 42 years old).

Bernie is also great, but he's too old. I'm sorry, but it's true. We need young blood.

Also, IMO, one of the reasons why Dems aren't fighting harder right now against everything that is happening is because they're too dirty. They fear the dirt Musk's team can dig up on them if they push back too much. But new people like Ossoff, AOC, Crockett, Omar, and Frost haven't been in politics long enough to accept money from the wrong people or get themselves dirty. it's why they are the ones most outspoken. Again, just my opinion on the current situation.

I'm not naive enough to believe that everyone in the Democratic party is squeaky clean just because I'm a Dem.

Democrats need to focus on policies that help US voters

I for one am quite ok with shutting the NIH grant process until all US citizens have healthcare

Make sure you are calling your elected officials every single day and telling them they need to hold Trump accountable. Tell House they need to impeach (they won’t but they need to start hearing this is our word demand). Tell senators they need to use school procedural tools to grind the Senate to a halt. Throw out words like deny, unanimous, consent, and call a quorum.

Attend Tesla Takedown’s, join in April 5 event. Talk to friends and neighbors and family, remind them that this is not OK and ask them to call their lawmakers and to stand up.

What do Tesla takedowns do? You already see how it's failing, you are practically declaring a war on property already owned by your own constituencies. Elon isn't going bankrupt and won't. They will find a way around it and in the meanwhile you are getting a bunch of moderate Dems deregister because they are fed up not being able drive the vehicles they paid for.

What if your homebuilder is found to be supporting current administration, or the maker of your furniture/appliances, or your own employer? You know in business world it's interconnected and everyone owns everyone else, including you with your 401Ks and pension funds. Dumb you are

There is no rebuilding democracy without fixing income inequality.

Overturning Citizens United for starters. GREATLY limiting corporate political donations. Universal healthcare. Getting foreign investors out of housing. Higher taxes for the wealthy. Better ways to afford college (or more access to stable jobs even without a degree). Stronger labor unions.

So long as a sizable portion of the country feels like they cannot afford housing/food/medicine/education, there will be a snake oil salesman along promising economic prosperity.
