When to stop supporting adult child?

OP here--told us she just wants to take it easy this summer and not come home/finish her internship in DC. She will work her college job all summer and stay in town where she studies (her apartment). Asked us to cover her utilities/internet, which she paid herself for 4 years. I am really upset with her choice.
