Urine pregnancy test with IVF before beta?

Same here. It really helped me, even though I forced myself to keep an open mind until the beta results came in.

I did the same and I feel it helped. Also, for few cycles I tested out the trigger and knew that by day 8-9 it is out of my system. So any positive after day 9 would have been a real deal.

I am very nervous... today is the day i have to do the first beta exam... i made a urine test this morning, before going to Dr, and it was negative... does that mean i am not pregnant? no chance at all ?

Unfortunately, it is unlikely you are pregnant if it is the day of your beta and your urine test is still negative. Most of the times betas are done on the equivalent of 14dpo, if it is a viable pregnancy you would be getting a positive on a urine test at that point. Sorry.

Everyone is different and this 10 day safe to test mentality is not accurate. Wife was positive on home test day 13 and day 14, day 15 was negative...To me, these 3 days of highs and lows before our appointment was not worth it.

Of course. Why wouldn't you? No rational reason to wait for the blood test. HPTs are very accurate by 14dpo.

this is my 2ed ivf the firs one is a 3y baby boy but this one is a negative BETA on day 13th after transfer.. the doctor told me to stay on med and try the test once again after a week... I feel so worried
my BETA was >2 does anyone know what does that even mean ??????

I'm not sure why a RE would tell you to continue meds if you have a negative beta. Have never heard this before. I'm sorry but I would assume it's negative but continue meds at doctors orders for a week.

Did you do a 3d or 5 day transfer?
You are either 16dpo or 18dpo with a beta of 2. That usually means a Chemical Pregnancy.

HI I HAVE HAD A 5 DAY EMBRYO TRANSFER AND MY BETA TEST WAS TOMORROW I GAVE INTO TEMPTATION AND DID MY URINE TEST AND IT WAS NEGATIVE BUT ALSO HAVE RECEIVED MY PERIOD I AM TOLD TO WAIT AND SEE ANOTHER 3 DAY DAYS AS IF THE 2 WEEK WAIT ISN'T LONG ENOUGH

I tested before because I have no patience. It was equivalent to 10dpo after FET and a faint positive.

I tested a few times at home with an expired pregnancy test and it was accurate. The line got darker as it got closer to the beta test.

I wanted to prepare myself ahead of time if it was going to be negative. Not so much a false happiness but rather to ease into my disappointment if it was negative.

I had an FET 6 days ago with one 5 day blastocyst implanted. My Beta is scheduled in two days and I took a HPT this morning and it was negative....was VERY disappointed, to say the lease this morning. Is there any hope that the Beta will come back Positive in two more days??
