Avoid resorts if you want diversity. |
This is the definition of impoverished locals waiting on rich white people. We didn’t dine with a single other Black person our entire trip. |
That's how they make their living. Avoiding safaris just makes them more impoverished. |
Let me guess, you don’t see color? |
South Florida. |
Places in the US are going to be the most diverse in the world. |
Sofitel Hotel in Philly |
Indonesia, especially if you get away from Bali.
My spouse was like a celebrity, we ran into teachers with students on a school trip and it was like they never saw a Caucasian person in real life before, they asked for pictures. |
We had a similar experience on a small island in Thailand. |
It doesn't matter whether I "see color" or not. When I go on vacation I'm there for my own experience. The people in the other rooms/other tables at the restaurant are irrelevant to me. |
So tropical! |
Idiotic question. The appropriate question is why does the color you see matter? It does not matter, and should not matter. As long as you make it matter, it'll be an issue. Evolved humans don't care. |
I've stayed in plenty of resorts in SE Asia and the Middle East and they are quite diverse. Many guests were wealthy Middle Easterners, Asians, Central Asians, South Asians, and, yes Europeans/Australians/Americans. The irony was that when I stayed in guest houses/hostels/backpacker type places, the clientele was far less diverse.... |
I don't recall passing a moral judgment on whether OP should avoid patronizing safaris. However, the original request was for suggestions on diverse clientele. Safaris are not it. |
St. Barts. It’s diverse without the poor rube tourists in the way! |
