Recommend your carry on suitcase

Rimowa. Have had it for ages.

I’ve traveled regularly for business and pleasure for 30 years and my carryons from TJ Maxx have lasted forever.

My biggest advice is to avoid black because if you ever need to gate check it (and you will) or leave it with a valet (and you will), you want to be able to quickly identify your bag.

I have two sizes, and my “shorty” is a super cheap Lucas bag that I bought at TJ Maxx the night before I had to fly to Toronto for a last minute two-night trip. I think it was $40 and it’s still going strong 10 years later.

I can’t imagine why anyone would spend big money on a carryon.

Go wheel around whatever they have at TJ Maxx. Take a tape measure.

If you are flying internationally, be mindful of their ridiculous limits. (Fwiw, I’ve been lucky with getting my larger US size bag on board international flights.)

I love my Away. It rolls really nicely and has withstood a ton of abuse and still looks good. I have the smaller one and, with a weekender bag, am able to pack for 3+ weeks away in it.

Agree with TJ Maxx. But we have black and just colorful luggage tags. It’s not been an issue.
