Ukies lost a ton of players to other clubs when then moved from GA to ECNL. The Ukies teams playing ECNL right now are not the same players that played GA

Are you kidding me? If they lost players, it was because kids came in from outside clubs for ECNL.

Nationals from Midwest conference look like 4-5 teams will qualify for playoffs out of a very hard conference, two teams finishing third behind just Gallagher & Michigan Hawks

Plus national team call ups and lots of college commmitments on their social media.

Definitely a bottom tier ECNL program, just because you didn’t like that they left the GA doesn’t mean you should be making things up here 😂

South shore played high school in the fall and is just starting up, they gained a lot of players, they will be just fine.

Rush is struggling but they were middle of the road in GA too.

Does anyone know how the promotion from GA Tier 2 (Aspire) into GA will work?

Will it be for one team at one age group, if they do particularly well for example. Or is it for the whole Club to earn a promotion?

-If its only for a whole club, will they ignore promotion of GA2 team if the same club already has a GA1 team? I.e. if a clubs GA2 team wins their league, would they have no shot at promotion because the same club already has a GA1 team?

The problem with youth league and club structure is there's a multiple levels of teams for every age group. Pro/Rel doesn't work in the current club structure because a single coach might have multiple levels or age group teams.

What this means is if you wanted to do Pro/Rel ar the youth level it would have to be club wide at all age groups. This doesn't work because clubs will just go to competitors before being relegated if it's going to happen across all age groups and levels.

ECNLs way to get around all this was to force crappy clubs to merge with better clubs vs boot them completely from the league. Unfortunately this just delays the inevitable because merged club leadership will fight for power eventually spinning back put into separate clubs usually in a different league.

Pro/Rel works with acadamies because there's 1 top team and all age groups feed I to it. Age has no bearing on who plays.

I can’t wait to go to a freezing cold showcase for ECNL only to have a lot of rain and my games being cancelled. It surely a better league and I can get recruited from a mid tier club better there.

Given that GA plays the same club vs club format where all six age groups play each other on the same day, it cannot be individual team promotion

It's more likely getting promoted to have access to GA national events.
