Club fees will be comparable to ECNL fees in the range of 3-4k. But you'll pay double that in travel expenses. Flights and hotels in LA ain't cheap. Probably like $10k per year for club fees + travel.

20k if your good and on a good team

Huh? The cost is the same for everyone. You pay the same dues and travel to the same places if you are the best or worst on the team. And all teams (other than U13/U14) travel to the same places whether they are in first or last place.

They're insinuating if you're in the national playoffs and the extra travel, but 20k is absolutely absurd even considering that (unless they're just booking the most expensive options available)

In GA the national playoffs in California in June are also a required showcase event for U15-U17. Your team will travel there either to play in the playoffs or if your team didn't qualify they will be in the showcase portion. https://girlsacademyleague.com/playoffs-summer-showcase/

Much of the above information is only partial and doesn’t really describe the ga. No local clubs are champions cup teams and not likely to be in the near future. The oversaturation by clubs joining into the gap will keep the teams weak on a wide scale basis for some years to come. The talent will begin to accumulate at one of the clubs, which will likely be VRSC just like the ECNL talent has accumulated at vda.

Agreed. No one will actually do well Nationally. There are way too many teams, just like ECNL was around here prior to all the moves. It will come down to where the big recruiter coaches with college connections end up on where talent goes, like BP at VDA now.

Not the right thread for your speculations. There are plenty of others for that.

Wait, all the ECNL hats say that GA is easy. If this is case NVA + others should be able to steamroll through the finals.

Now the excuse is "oversaturation" of clubs? What does this even mean? There's only one winner of a regional league. You could have 50 teams in a regional league and it wouldn't matter. There would still only be one top team going to finals.

Sometimes the excuses get so thick if they jumped up in the air they'd get stuck.

NVA is no match for GA clubs like Tophot and a few Cincinnati. They would be beaten every time. This is the exact misconception of LS parents. A fast kid cannot dribble past three defenders who know they won’t pass. You have to know how and when to pass and to move and pass. LS doesn’t teach this. There are at least ten clubs who outrank 98% of ECNL teams and clubs. When you compete nationally, you must know how to play as a team and have depth off the bench. NVA parents have learned the hard way that it’s not ECNL vs ga. It’s style of play and team depth. Foot skills is a small piece to a much bigger puzzle.

At least 10-12 k per year, but most likely closer to 20k when you add $80 sweatshirts, trips to the mall when traveling, extra food costs when traveling. Flights. Bringing little sister along. Driving back and forth.

GA is a pretty well run league. It might not be if they over saturate it with teams that don’t compete.

Yep. Realistically, there should be one dominant club in GA and one in ECNL in this area

GA is actually better run than ECNL

You’re trying so hard in every thread, does your livelihood depend on parents’ payments exclusively?

How do you explain clubs like Nationals, South Shore Select and Ukrainian Nationals going from top GA teams to bottom tier ECNL teams?

Because the Midwest and NE are naturally strong conferences….
