This line up would see a mass exodus of current players on the girls side.

Where they gonna go? GA? Arlington? VDA? Not many realistic options left

There's plenty of realistic options if families do their due diligence for what their DC is looking for.

That would explain the coaching shakeup at Vienna.

Did you miss that this is a prediction thread, not the real lineup? Also likely a troll.

Definetly trolls because FVU will not have an ECNL badge after 2025

Aww, somebody’s upset that NVA has no badge now

I predict that Vienna will stink at leading up an ECNL team. How’s that for a prediction. That coaching lineup is a joke.

lol, basically this anyway. It’s youth soccer, what did you expect?

FVU stands to be pretty strong on the girls’ side regardless of coaching slate, given that there is one less ECNL badge in town. I don’t think they bleed any talent out, and probably gain a handful of NVA girls in the reshuffle. 2013 coach probably matters the most for recruiting purposes since GA + inertia might keep some littles at McLean/NVA at that age group. Older FVU girls likely to stay put (if they can), especially those entering the recruiting window.

This is correct with some age years taking on more NVA girls than others. The problem is that the boys side will get even weaker than it already is with MLSNEXT at Loudoun. FVU will be in the exact same position that caused ECNL to force the Brave Union combination. FVU will probably have some more changes next year.

After this weekend
All, but 2010s are on the lower end.

FVU Boys
2012 - Record 1-13-1 (14th/15)
2011 - Record 1-12-1 (14th/15)
2010 - Record 7-6-1 (7th/15)
2009 - Record 3-9-2 (12th/15)
2008 - Record 1-11-2 (15th/15)
2006/07 - Record 4-7-3 (12th/15)

Not only coaching needs to change but requirement for recruitment as well.

Coaching slate should be announced 2/25.

Wanna bet that slate will have more questions than answers?

The Current 2nd coaches (on boys side) that were announced last year (for this year) are not ever there at practices. It’s 1-coach for 20+ kids.

They never planned on having 2 coaches. One former Brave, One former VA Union to keep both sides calm. Only 1 was ever going to be the coach. The other was there just to retain players, you'll likely see the same with Brave 2.0. So PP is right, parents will need to ask who's really in charge.

The website shows two coaches and 20+ players per team.
