What’s the benefit of a “pool view” other than to be creepy/a perv?

Because it's better than a parking lot or dumpster view? Because if you want to go to the pool you can see if it's crowded without schleping down there? I mean...only pervs? Really? Lay off the Datelines and Law and Order SVUs.

I work for a hotel company that is revamping the way we sell our rooms based on view. Standardizing hotel room view is not easy.

It’s tricky because every location is different, so it’s very difficult to standardize.

Most people prefer to look out onto something beautiful than a parking lot or a dumpster. But that isn’t always available, nor does it always align with what is the best room in the hotel

Also, some people like me don’t care about the view, generally and would rather have other room amenities that are better.

Pool view is definitely better than the dumpster or parking lot view, but not as nice as say ocean view or something like that.

I don’t care what my view is. My blinds and curtains are always shut.
