Are you expecting the drivers to purchase roses for up to 60 kids (which is the max # to be seated on the busses)?

Another clueless poster. Do you know that there are more than that many students on a bus, some routes with more than others. students on one another in small seats (think 6ft HSers). Spend some time off the screen and into the real world.

It may have improved but at one time in mcps, a bus had students sitting on the floor/aisle of bus (no not a troll post).

Yes, my 7 year old listens to the news on her bus. She does come home aware of things that we have to discuss (most recently wild fires in CA destroying neighborhoods).

My kid's ES busdriver (Mrs H), made every kid remain seated in their seat for the duration of the ride. No bullying or misbehavior allowed. I was so, so, so grateful to her.

What did she do if they didn't? Pull over on side of road? Turn back the bus to school so they would?

Not clueless at all. I am an educator. The busses are supposed to seat up to 60 students. If more than that are being seated, that's dangerous.

However, that wasn't the point of my post. Parents expect support staff members, who make the least amount of $ in MCPS to be buying their children roses to gand out. And most drivers have 2-3 routes per day so that could be up to 180 roses? Talk about clueless! 🤡
