Ok, moderrator, no one said there's a problem. Some of you need to go back to Really Great Reading and learn to again. |
As someone said up thread, it could be a station that has news every 30 min but plays music the rest of the time. Students have said they heard news on bus the week of new president of US's inauguration but not other times. |
| I would hope it's very local bland news like I see when I sit in waiting rooms. Hyper political news from either side when you have a captive audience is not appropriate. |
Waiting room news? Those are terrible. Local news is sometimes worse. Being close to DC, often political and federal news will also make local news. |

| My kid's bus driver puts a complete idea in the subject line. |
Good for your non-existent school aged kids. |
How is a rose a bad thing? |
Did anyone say it was a bad thing? |
| No issue with either. |
| News is good for kids. |
A kindergartener? No they don't need to be. |
|
I'd be angry if my young kid came home hearing news if we didn't expose her to it at home. A lot of times it's full of all kinds of things that I don't want a young kid to be thinking about (especially if I don't know they've been exposed).
Our bus drivers used to hand out halloween. One did it regularly (and invited the little siblings to come up the stairs to get a piece). Another did it mostly on halloween/v-day. |
Exactly to your first paragraph. If you were there when bus driver was handing out at the bus stop, that's one thing not sure why a rose would be given on a random day |
Are you expecting the drivers to purchase roses for up to 60 kids (which is the max # to be seated on the busses)? |
