Most of us don't work for the Feds. Some of us are supportive of what's going on. Many of us are in professions that don't rely on the Feds.

Supportive of completely eliminating USAID? I mean that's one of the bright spots in US soft power...

NP. I don't support completely eliminating USAID...I wish the EO had been more specific...eliminate USAID that relates in any way to things other than basic needs...basic healthcare (and I mean basic...nothing related to gender-affirming care for example), housing and food. An immediate end to all USAID not tied to its core mission of providing direct humanitarian relief.

We are still taking our 3 vacations. The most expensive parts are already paid for. I'm not concerned about my job. If for whatever reason I lost it, I would be able to find a new one easily. I work in a very in demand and understaffed industry. DH job is pretty stable at the moment and he's got a pretty good skill set and if he lost his job, should not have too much difficulty finding a new one. Neither of us are feds.

We have a good savings and we keep our normal day to day living very low.

Definitely planning on the airport process being more difficult so will have to add on additional time at the airports.

And if you have to travel to a foreign country because of family or other obligations? I mean seriously...sure....I just wouldn't do it without travel insurance.

Then you had better stand up and stop the rise of power for Nazi piece of cr@p before it ruins precious times.

He’s getting his fingers into the “aviation safety” jar, which means flying won’t be safe. Other countries are going to like us less and less, and possibly retaliate when they find us visiting their communities acting all innocent.
The only reason I’d travel abroad is if I had a relocation plan.

Acting all innocent? A lot of us are innocent—we didn’t vote for this nutjob. It’s important to separate the people from the government.

Many vacations are planned a year or more in advance. We currently have spring break, 2 summer trips, and next winter break already planned. It’s not the cost that concerns me - we use a lot of points and we are good at bargain hunting.
