1) Reddit has a fairly large foreign user base from other English-speaking, or English-fluent, countries. Especially in northern/Western Europe. They don’t have the same political views as Americans.

2) Reddit’s user base skews more toward Millennials who seem to be more liberal than Gen Z. Especially amongst the men.

3) plenty of censorship on Reddit too. Look at how much the Luigi stuff has fallen off.

Now you know why they killed net neutrality and are looking very hard at repealing laws that protect companies and websites from what is written on their platforms. They will shutdown reddit and bluesky at some point. You will only be allowed to use twitter. Today, Elon said he was suspending anyone on Twitter who protests the Trump administration. They are going to slowly chip away at the freedom of speech. Only a matter of time until they arrest people who lost any dissenting opinions of the administration.

Why are foreigners spamming in regional sub Reddits and niche subreddits that have nothing to do with politics? Everything is MAGA, Trump and Musk hysteria. There are more upvotes than active users. It’s all fake.
