SYC and Alexandria MLSN above ECNL teams?

They quickly shifted all their effort to the girls side now that they have GA.

Why shift efforts to a second tier girls league?

Last I checked, they sent all their teams to nationals and are doing much better overall in the MLSN league than their competitors, who hardly win any games. They are better than Bethesda, too. I would not judge friendly games, where coaches experiment and let guest players gain more experience.

You're saying best of cup are friendly games? Yet SYC gloats and flaunts how they are the only league with all their teams playing in it?

No, I am saying they sent all their teams of different ages to nationals. It's pretty simple. Some comments talk about some teams losing over the weekend. But when it matters, they are a club that performs.

No, I don't do that. But facts matter. You could quickly point to the other club mentioned here, which has performance issues. But that is not your agenda.

Hahahaha - Kickball Thugs and Futsal Nerds? Get real. Just go with whichever club is closest to you to beat Nova traffic. MLS Next or ECNL, all the clubs are completely identical in three key aspects. (1) They will take a lot of money from you. (2) They will make you waste weeknights and weekends driving everywhere. (3) They will guarantee that your kid NEVER plays pro soccer because none of them care to develop players. It’s pay to play - financial incentives simply are not there to expend the extra time and effort to do more than pretend to care about your kid. And let’s not get delusional about college soccer either; these days they are mostly foreign players and there are very few slots for American boys. So it matters not one whit which mediocre club your son plays for because he is not getting a college scholarship. This MLSN vs ECNL debate is very silly. Only people who care are the MLSN staffers and their trolls trying to take market share from ECNL. Why don’t we just merge all the leagues again to stop all this nonsense?

ECNL dad jilted by MLSNext.

NAL dad jizzing over how his kid now officially will be called MLSN Tier 2 Second Class Citizens next year.

If your boy is not in an academy program, please remain quiet. We all know the drill. Your flexing gets old, and you are disappointing your son. (shhhhhhhh)

Very sorry your precious boy can’t get past the second or third team of a mediocre club.

I can't find that result anywhere, not in the rankings app and not on the tournament website. The 2010 Boys MLS Next side beat Beach FC ECNL on Jan 25th 2-0 at Best of the East tournament. They are still ranked 88 in the country and 4th in the state.... not sure this supposed 11-0 loss is real or was it a scrimmage?
