What makes the "worst" hs's in FCPS so bad?

PP does it make you feel better to make sure the number of expensive homes around Rose Hill elem are counted with pinpoint accuracy? You know exactly what she was saying and she's correct. I had the same experience when I was at West Potomac. It was a great example of economic diversity. Poor kids being bussed in and the rich kids driving their parents Infiniti's and Surburbans to school. And even better the different groups mixed together just fine.

I had the same reaction to that PP as well. Clermont is also a feeder school for Edison so even if there are more million dollar homes in the Clermont district than in Rose Hill, the kids end up together at Mark Twain MS before going on to Edison.

I don't feel strongly about it, though I'm probably less likely to believe what a poster has to say about the quality of the local schools if she gets other facts wrong.
