I thought the same until I bought this pair from Spanx: https://spanx.com/products/spanxsmooth-perfectfit-ponte-wide-leg-pant?variant=43014328287443 Very comfortable, office appropriate, and machine washable. I wear them at least twice a week. |
Based on the photos, I don't think these pants are work appropriate, sorry. And most women have bigger bottoms than models, so i suspect the average woman looks less appropriate in these in real life. |
| For me, finding the right cut is key, and that depends on what is in fashion. Right now Talbots and Anne Taylor are my petite pant go-to places. |
| I like Dream Pants at Everlane. Someone here recommended. Try on in Tysons or Gtown store for size then order on line for more colors. The Dream line wears well, is easy care and super comfortable. The pants are a bit cropped so length works well for me. |
| Everlane has frequent sales, you should be able to get pants for even $28 at times. Feel like sweats but hold up to frequent wear. |

High SPORT has various pants in their line. These are very expensive, but very high quality and flattering.

+2 they are great. And they're not high rise which so many other trousers are! Hate high rise. |
| Banana Republic and Aritzia are both great for the price. Loft and Ann Taylor used to be so good, but everything just feels cheap from there now. |
