The price difference between the quince pointe
Pants and the Veronica beard ponte pants is tremendous. Seeing as it is essentially the same product - why should I buy the one 8x the price? |
if you don't care what Larla The Snob will say about your attire, but what you think is reasonable. |
| Shockingly, Abercrombie and Fitch makes some nice work trousers, if you don’t mind synthetic fabric. They also come in tall/short, which is nice. I also have found some nice ones at Old Navy. I like Aritzia, but I’m not paying over $100 for polyester pants. Their wool versions are nice. Generally, if you’re looking at synthetic materials for wash and wear, you may as well buy from ON/Loft/TJ Maxx. |

I am nit familiar with the VB ponte pants so can’t compare, but my experience with Quince (I own a lot) is that while the products are nice and priced well, compared to the more expensive non-quince versions of the products, the quince ones won’t hold up as well (will pill, show wear, etc), the cut won’t be quite as good, and often the colors are limited (which is irrelevant for black pants of course). For example, it would not surprise me if quince ponte pabts lose their stretch/shape faster than the VB ones, both on a daily wear and cumulative basis. Often these trade offs are worth it for the better price, but not always. |

| Ann Taylor - but I haven't found any that aren't dry clean only. |
| Not Boden. Their petite clothing is not petite. Honestly, Ann Taylor has the best petite sizing. |

I ordered these and like them: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJWL95XR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

| I really like JC Penny's, they have a short/petite length and different cuts (regular, curvy). |
| Was just at Loft in Tyson’s this weekend and there were a number for $22 on sale. |
+1 on Abercrombie. They also come in petite (short). |
