University of Tennessee womens basketball coach returns to work one week after giving birth

I was back feeding livestock the day after I got home from the hospital with my babies. I have one heated room in the barn and I’d leave them in there, or in my running truck if it was really cold, in a car seat stroller. They were fine…I’d time it during naps. If they woke up and I was out throwing hay, they cried for two minutes. Life goes on.

How many babies have their fathers return to work within a week?

I’m sure you feel equally bad for them.

NP, but even if you don’t like it, it’s different. Humans are mammals. Females gestate and feed babies from their bodies— males do not. Of course fathers are important, but it’s not the same for a newborn.

+1 it’s disgusting and I hope she was wearing depends

She has a husband.

Also, this is why breastfeeding rooms are important. She can bring the baby to work. The baby can feed and sleep there with help from her H.

In 6 weeks the season will be over and she can then take full maternity leave.

+1 the defense rests

Dude you can sit this one out since you have no idea the nonsense you're spouting.

You know the baby is with her right? It’s not at home. They set up her office and the baby’s father office knowing this would happen.

I’d actually say this baby has more parental involvement than most,

She’s also not working 8 hours a day but even if she was the baby is asleep or with the father when she is working

I worked with a woman who came back 3 weeks after giving birth, Her crappy husband had already split so her mom took care of the baby while she worked full time (9-6) and commuted at least an hour each way.

She really did not mind it.

Never once did my mother feed her 4 kids from her body. Nor I my 3 kids. Bottles are great and dads can bond better and faster.

Just the thought of sitting on a hard bench a week after giving birth is making me shudder and I haven’t had a baby in more than a decade.

When I read stuff like this I cannot thank god enough that I adopted my 3 kids.

She has a very, very healthy trust fund, no mortgage, no car payments, etc. and does not need the money.

I didn't understand this. At all.

You don’t understand why wealthy men work?

Why adopt. a baby then? You can't give it a few weeks of attention?

It’s really not. I nearly died from birth and DD was in the NICU, so H and the NICU nurses did all of her caretaking for the first week of life. She was fine. Plenty of babies spend weeks in the NICU and turn out fine.

Idk this woman.
My friend found out on a Friday she was adopting a baby on Monday.

She needed to train someone to do her job so worked the 1st month she had the baby.

This ^^^

But also she is breastfeeding and only working <1/2 a normal schedule. Plus she will be post season in a few weeks.
