Soccer! It is literally called the beautiful game. I can watch just about any level and find it pleasing.
I love watching diving, skiing, and snowboarding during the Olympics but never tune in outside of that. I was just today saying I dislike watching football because it lacks the beauty of soccer. Its too repetitve and you rarely get to see individual skills on display (except QB throws). |
I love watching most sports, but for beauty, figure skating is incredible. I watched Ilia win the men’s title this afternoon. What he does looks so effortless yet dynamic. |
| Hockey. If you have ever played and can skate well you’ll know why. You feel like you’re flying on ice. |

I love that the consensus is hockey. Someone needs to tell those beautiful guys and gals!

| Figure skating - Ilia Malinin, in particular, is mesmerizing to watch. He has such a compelling combination of athleticism (it's hard for regular lay folks watching the sport to comprehend how much mental and physical strength is required to do a quad axel, which is 4.5 turns in the air, taking off on a forward outside edge and landing on one foot backward), plus his edgework is as good as any ice dancer. He also moves differently than anyone I've seen, and as he's matured, he's developed a theatrical quality to his skating that is so good. I enjoy watching several other sports for other reasons, but figure skating is the most beautiful. |

Figure skating, skiing (snow and water), surfing, wakeboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding. For me, there’s something mesmerizing about watching people do gravity-defying tricks while gliding across slippery surfaces.
For team sports, soccer and hockey. |
