| If you couldn’t get away with it before COVID, you won’t get away with it now. Prepare accordingly! |
| Is remote work applicable to those who moved away? I’m confused |
| The worst part is that it explicitly says return full time |
| OPM quotes the telework enhancement act in its definition of remote work. The new EO states that it is consistent with applicable law. |
That was my first reaction. Remote workers are already at their duty stations. I agree some agency heads will use this to bring people in more, but they would have anyway. Those who can't or don't care have room not to. If you are lucky and nothing changes for you, I think it would be smart to not draw attention. |

Wow.
Also wondering if private sector will follow. One Biglaw firm recently announced 5 days a week in office. |
Does it turn you on when other people’s lives are upended? |
| Does subject to applicable laws means where there are collective bargaining agreements? |
Exactly - keep your head down and let time pass |
| What about bargaining contracts and ADA accommodations! |
| The governments pressured private companies to RTO, so the Feds and local governments should too. |
Silly. So I’m remote but my work station is my house. |
| So how about if you have a reasonable accommodation to remote work? |
Drama llama? RTO is hardly an upending - have some perspective |
